What if I don’t have a résumé?
That’s okay. A résumé is not required to complete the career discovery process. Use the no-résumé option and provide as much detail as you can about your experience and responsibilities.
Will I need additional training or certification?
Possibly. Some career paths require specific licenses, certifications, technical skills, or training. The app can identify possibilities but does not replace an employer’s stated qualifications.
Does unpaid experience count?
Yes. Caregiving, volunteering, mentoring, church/community work, family responsibilities, and other unpaid roles can develop valuable transferable skills. Describe what you actually did rather than focusing only on whether you were paid.
Do I have to use the job titles the app suggests?
No. They are translation suggestions intended to help you recognize how your experience may be described professionally. Edit or remove anything that does not accurately represent what you did.
